Episode 93: A Rocky Win

We got a special ep for you today- OG BS'er Isaiah is back out of his cave to recap UCLA's win over the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. We take a look back at the game and give our biggest takeaways, including who we think will start next game (hint: it's not what you may expect!) and some of the most baffling aspects of it. Episode 92: UCLA Football ’23 Preview

With college football officially kicking off week 1 this week, BS is back with a UCLA football season preview! With this being the final season of the Pac-12, UCLA has a lot to play for to go out with a bang. We chat about some keys for this year's team (hint, hint it's always the defense), the roster and make game-by-game predictions. Plus, we've got a little bit of a basketball update from Spain! BS is back in the topsy-turvy world of conference alignment. We're doing something a little different here and talking about all of the craziness around conferences, but particularly diving into the sad demise of the Pac 12 (at least how we see it as Bruin fans) and what led up to that. Episode 89: The Dream Is Over

March sadness has arrived for UCLA fans yet again...In this episode we talk about what went wrong in that Gonzaga game to end our March run. We also talk through UCLA's path forward and the new era for the Bruins post-Tyger,Jaime, etc. Check it all out right here!

Episode 88: It’s Doubly Sweet This Year

In a whacky, wild and wonderful first weekend of March Madness, our UCLA Bruins find themselves in the Sweet 16 once again against a familiar foe, the Gonzaga Bulldogs. What's even sweeter is that both men's AND women's teams keep on dancing! Can someone say basketball school? In this episode, we recap UCLA MBB's weekend and what made them successful in beating UNC Asheville and Northwestern. We also take a quick detour to how the Northwestern game nearly got Kevin divorced (spoilers: folks, don't worry, he's still happily married). Going forward from there, we've also got a game preview of the Sweet 16 matchup against the Zags. Lastly, we chat women's bball and their own Sweet 16 matchup against South Carolina. It's an awesome time to be a Bruin basketball fan and we've got a packed episode, so buckle in and enjoy the ride!

Episode 87: The Best Kind of Madness

While the Pac-12 Tournament didn't end the way we wanted, who cares! Cuz the Madness is upon us and UCLA has punched its ticket as a 2 seed in the West. In this ep we look back at the conference tournament and discuss why every Bruin should be swelling with pride with how UCLA played. We also discuss UCLA's seeding, what a path to a very deep run could potentially look like and preview our first game against UNC Ashville. It's the most wonderful time of year and BS will take you all along for the ride!

Episode 86: An Almost Perfect Week

BS is back to discuss a pretty eventful week for UCLA basketball this past week. We chat about the good (beating ASU), the great (walloping Arizona) and the horrible (Jaylen Clark's injury). We also discuss what the Bruins need to do during the Pac-12 Tournament and how they can get a stranglehold on that #1 seed. Get hyped Bruins, cuz we're set for a wild March!

Episode 85: The 2023 Pac-12 Champions are Crowned

BS comes to you with great joy after our UCLA Bruins men's basketball team CLINCHED THE PAC-12! With 2 games left of the conference schedule, the Bruins have secured their first conference title in a decade, making this one even sweeter. In this episode, we chat about the Mountain Sweep that led to winning the conference, why the final 2 games against the Arizona schools in LA matter and where the Bruins stand with March Madness seeding. We also jump into our thoughts on UCLA's new football defensive coordinator, D'Anton Lynn. This is a good one folks, so check it out right ehre!

Episode 84: Tough Mountains to Climb

Another week and another sweep of the Bay Area schools down in Pauley Pavilion. With the final 4 games of the conference season left, the UCLA Bruins can almost taste winning the Pac-12. But there's still some work left to do. In this episode we chat about some scary moments against Stanford when the Bruins tried to lose the game and some comical moments against Cal, where Cal looked like a high school team in Pauley. We also preview the huge mountain trip against Utah and Colorado and what it'll take for the Bruins to be successful there. It's almost March and let's just say it's a great time to be a UCLA fan...As always, go Bruins!
