Episode 121: Spring Wrap and Transfers Galore

Bruin Source is back with a massive episode! Starting off, we chat about the Spring Game and what our takeaways were from the event. We also dive into Football recruiting and Foster's recent successes through the Transfer Portal. Speaking of recruiting, Mick Cronin continues to kill it on the trail, landing 2 more big transfers and we discuss how William Kyle III and Dominick Harris fit into the mix. Staying on the transfer portal theme, we also chat about WBB landing Charlisse Leger-Walker and what else they need to fill out the roster. Lastly, we discuss some other spring sports and UCLA's NFL Draft success! Lots to listen to in this one!

Episode 120: Spring So Far

Spring practice is almost over Bruins, but BS is here to give some of our takes on what's culminated thus far heading into the Spring Game. We also chat about the success of Friday Night Lights, UCLA's huge recruiting (and NIL) victory in getting Jay Toia back and what else Coach Foster should look for in the portal. 

While Spring Ball goes on, Mick Cronin continues to absolutely crush the transfer portal on the MBB side of things, adding Tyler Bilodeau and recruiting some bigs. Lastly, we also talk about some other Spring sports going on and how UCLA is faring there. Check it all out right here!

Episode 119: Cronin's Transfer Portal Tear

Bruin Source is back with a transfer portal focused episode! We discuss Mick Cronin's absolute dominance of the transfer portal, chat about our latest commit Eric Dailey Jr. and what the MBB roster and lineup might look like next season. 

In honor of Jackie Robinson Day this week, we also give a shoutout to the legend and talk about his deep UCLA roots and how he was breaking barriers as a college football player.

UCLA is officially done with basketball for the 2023-24 season...With WBB bowing out last weekend, we talk about Cori Close's tenure thus far, the loss to LSU and the media controversy surrounding the game. We also dive into MBB's transfer activity, why we think Cronin should retain the majority of the roster, who we'd be ok with moving on from and some names the Bruins are going after in the portal. Episode 116: A Pivotal Sweet 16

Bruin fans, we have a WBB-centric episode for you with the team waltzing into the Sweet 16 and a massive matchup against LSU. We chat about the CBU and Creighton games and how the Bruins overwhelmed their opponents with their size and athleticism. We also chat about how Bruin fans need to absolutely be better at creating home court advantages. Lastly on the WBB front, we jump into what it'll take for UCLA to beat LSU in Albany and what a pivotal moment this is for the program. For the MBB fans, don'y worry, we haven't forgotten about you! We discuss some buzz around the transfer portal and some of Mick Cronin's recent comments about the program. It's a packed episode, but a good one!

Episode 115: Sadness and Madness

BS is back with a special March Madness (and Sadness...) episode for UCLA fans! In this one, we start off by looking back and what all went wrong for Mick Cronin and crew, what missing the NCAAs means for Cronin and the path to rebounding (literally and figuratively) next season. We also chat about March Madness for UCLA WBB, their 2 seed, the bracket of death they've been put in and what success for Cori Close looks like in this year's tourney. Bruin fans, the Pac-12 has finally wrapped up (regular season at least!) and for the final time. In this one, BS discusses MBB's woes (though ending on a high note!) and WBB's semis L to Southern Cal. We also chat about Deshaun Foster's tenure so far and why Bruins should be happy about it. Episode 112: The Bienemy of My Bienemy is My Friend

It's official (kinda) that UCLA football has hired its OC...Bruin fans, esteemed NFL OC of KC Chiefs fame, Eric Bienemy is landing in Westwood. We chat about what Bienemy brings from an offensive perspective, what he needs to do to be successful and why this is a huge win (at least from a PR perspective) for UCLA. We also get into the straight up embarrassment of a loss UCLA MBB took this past Saturday at home and why this one in particular felt so frustrating. Lastly, we talk WBB and how they've regained some momentum down the final stretch of the season. Check it all right here!
